PGA TOUR Q-School Highlights: Fortinet Cup Champions Aim for the Big Stage

As the final stage of the PGA TOUR Q-School presented by Korn Ferry kicks off in Florida, all eyes are on three standout players—former Fortinet Cup Championship winners—vying for their next big career milestones.

A Legacy of Excellence

The last three Fortinet Cup champions, Wil Bateman (2022), Hayden Springer (2023), and Will Cannon (2024), are all in the Final Stage field. Their journeys through PGA TOUR Americas and their impressive performances at the Fortinet Cup Championship have brought them to this pivotal moment.

  • Wil Bateman: After finishing 54th on the 2024 Korn Ferry Tour season-long points list, Wil retained his Korn Ferry Tour card for 2025. A top-five finish at Q-School will secure his first PGA TOUR card.

  • Hayden Springer: The 2023 PGA TOUR Canada Player of the Year earned his PGA TOUR card with a T4 finish at last year’s Q-School. Hayden retained conditional status for the 2025 PGA TOUR season and is determined to earn full exempt status with another top-five finish.

  • Will Cannon: With his victory at the 2024 Fortinet Cup Championship, Cannon broke into the top-10 in the season-long Fortinet Cup standings. After securing status for the 2024 North America Swing via PGA TOUR Americas Q-School, he now aims to secure his first PGA TOUR card.

A Path to the Top

For these three players, this week marks an opportunity to advance to golf’s highest level. Success at Q-School requires not only skill but also resilience and determination—qualities these champions have demonstrated time and again.

We’re excited to see what’s next for these rising stars as they take on this high-stakes challenge.
